PEMBELAJARAN MENTORSHIP PRAKTIK KOMUNIKASI EFEKTIF KESELAMATAN PASIEN PADA PERAWAT PELAKSANA: PILOT PROJECT DI RUMAH SAKIT

Latar Belakang: Komunikasi efektif merupakan salah satu mencegah kejadian tidak diinginakan di rumah sakit. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi praktek komunikasi, satu diantaranya adalah komunikasi yang belum optimal didalam kerjasama tim. Diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang baik berupa pendekatan mentor dan mente melalui mentorship. Tujuan: penelitian ini menerapkan pengembangan metode pembelajaran mentorsip sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi perawat pelaksana dalam praktik komunikasi efektif. Metode: penelitian ini mengggunakan metode pilot project pada 60 orang perawat pelaksana dengan melaksanakan observasi mentorsip dan praktik komunikasi efektif dengan terdiri dari 30 item. Tahapan dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah, analisis fishbone, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Implementasi berupa pembuatan pedoman, standar prosedur operasional, modul dan role play. Hasil: hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan hand over 30 %, transfer 40 % dan laporan kritis 50%. Keberhasilan praktik komunikasi dengan peningkatan dengan rata-rata hand over 45 %, Transfer 40% dan laporan kritis 35%. Diskusi: keberhasilan praktik komunikasi efektif dipengaruhi oleh dukungan manajerial, kemauan belajar dan pendampingan mentor dengan mente. Studi ini dapat menjadi evidence base nursing management dalam praktik komunikasi efektif untuk kesalamatan pasien.
