Articles must align with the focus and scope of Jurnal Media Ilmu. They must not have been previously published in other journals or publishing media, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The article should be the result of original research or a conceptual study.
Articles should be between 4,000–6,000 words, excluding the title, abstract, and references.
Articles must be written in Indonesian. The structure must follow the Jurnal Media Ilmu template.
Article Structure Includes:
Title: Written in bold. No more than 16 words. Abbreviations should be avoided.
Author's Name: Written without academic titles and in bold.
Author's Institution, City, and Country, along with the Author's Email Address.
Abstract: Should contain 150–200 words. For research papers, the abstract must include the objective, methods, and findings. For non-research papers, it should include the objective, methods, and discussion.
Keywords: 3–5 keywords.
Introduction: Should explain the theoretical background, relevant previous studies, practical applications, and the nature and purpose of the article.
Methods: This section should explain the participants, materials, and procedures used in the study, including treatments and data analysis.
Results and Discussion: Results should be clear and concise. The discussion should explore the significance of the results rather than merely repeating them. A combined results and discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussions of previously published literature.
Conclusion: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusion section, which can stand alone or be a subsection of the discussion or results and discussion section.
